Eagle’s Wings Counseling and Consulting LLC collaborated with the University of Pennsylvania’s Masters of Environmental Studies department to create a strategic plan aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion within the program. As part of the process, we administered surveys to both current students and alumni to collect valuable feedback on their personal experiences. Additionally, we facilitated two group meetings with current students and alumni to further explore key issues related to diversity and inclusion. Based on the feedback gathered, we developed a comprehensive recommendation plan designed to address the identified needs. This plan included the implementation of several initiatives, such as a Diversity Professional Development Workshop for Student Support teams, a Cultural Competency Workshop, a Diversity 101 Workshop, and an Implementing Diversity in the Organization Workshop. Additionally, we recommended a focus on Strategic Planning to ensure long-term sustainability and meaningful integration of diversity and inclusion initiatives into the program.
